Matthew Hinsley, MD

Dr. Hinsley received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, NE. He continued his postdoctoral residency training in Otolaryngology at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI. He is board certified in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. Andrew Johnson, MD

Central Oregon ENT

Andrew J. Johnson, MD, is an otolaryngology-head and neck surgeon who provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages with otolaryngologic conditions. He was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska. He received his B.S. in bioengineering from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington and went on to receive his M.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Peter Shepard, MD

Central Oregon ENT

Dr. Shepard received his Doctorate of Medicine from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He continued his postdoctoral residency training at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. Jordan Thompson, MD

Central Oregon ENT

Dr. Jordan Thompson specializes in comprehensive general otolaryngology and joined COENT in 2025. He grew up in Medford, Oregon and completed his undergraduate degree in biology-chemistry at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. He earned his medical degree from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, CA, and completed his otolaryngology, head and neck training at Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School.

For Dr. Thompson, the most rewarding part of being part of the COENT team is working near his family in an amazing place with an amazing team. Outside of work, he enjoys anything that involves the outdoors and his family, including kayaking, skiing, biking, hiking and traveling the globe.
